Casey Netball Association is a registered NetSetGO centre. Holding weekly

sessions designed for boys and girls aged 5-8 years. This program gives a

positive introduction to netball and everyone through the basic skills of netball

before going into a competition game with one of our many clubs here at Casey

Netball.

All sessions are focused on skill based activities, minor games and modified matches that will help everyone develop and understand the fundamental skills, as well as social skills such as team work and sharing.

​

Key focus skills for each term:

- Passing and catching the netball

- Footwork, take off and landing

- Pivot, not stepping & balance

- Change of direction, timing & coordination of hands and feet. 

- Goal Shooting, technique and power

- Defending, hands over and running with your player

- Movement skills, understanding space and creating leads to receive a pass

- Communication, netball terminology 

- Team work

Each NetSetGO participant receives a NetSetGO pack

once registered via post from Netball Australia.​
